What is RA 11285? Republic Act 11285 is a law mandating power consumers who uses 500,000 kWhr, and upwards, of electric power annually to implement energy efficiency and conservation measures in their establishments. The law provides both incentives, in the form of income tax holidays, and penalties
What can we offer? Leveraging on the products we carry; we can size up, design, integrate and build these into a Battery Enenrgy Storage Solution (BESS). From the diagram below BESS would comprise of Danfoss® power conversion unit and the ICgrid for monitoring and controls. The battery would be EOS® (a fully renewable battery unlike Li-ion although we also cater Li-ion batteries depending on customer preference). And we also have solar power panels from SunEVO® plus all accessories from switchgears, transformers, cables (Thermocables®) and installation/ commissioning services to provide a turnkey proposition.
The solution can help in the compliance with RA11285 and generate savings thru applications such as peak shaving, time of use and qualification for income tax holidays as provided by the law. Additional benefits/ purpose of our solution would be as backup power (to help transition to backup generator without plant shutdown) and power factor correction (there would no need of capacitor banks as the system can inject reactive power in increments of 1A providing a very fine control/ modulation of plant power factor).
